Growing up with ages, I find myself focusing on food more and more.
For this comic, even though it says about a girl into mountain climbing, actually it describes more about food carried by the girl in mountains and they all look delicious.
If you're into mountains, it is good comics. If you're interested in food, this is the ones for you too.
In this bad time and the whole world is suffering from covid-19. I listen to this song and feel touched and warm.
It is a song for sharing and adult responsibility, because we're the ones for better future.

I admit that I haven't watched TV series, especially chinese series, for a long time and always am more interested in US TV drama, like friends or sex and the city etc. But for this 如憶傳, it really is a good one with good actors/ actresses, nice costumes, dramtic and also historical storylines. It is a show describing the emperor in Ching dynasty and his concubines' lives from teenagers till death. This is a very long series but when you watch the conflicts and conspiracy between the concubines, it is so dramatic that you'll just be drawn to it and eager to know what happened next and if the bad ones got punishment.
It is a breath-taking TV series. Enjoy it when you have time.
I watched the Godfather before but only have vague memories. All I remember is the beautiful theme song and background music.
Yesterday I watched it again on netflix, which I signed up for half year so I can watch a lot of stuff if there's time. The movie is a masterpiece! The storyline, the interpretation, the camera shooting and music! It is one of the best without question and it was made in 1972! before I was born.
Although movies nowadays are always with advanced technology and colorful graphics, I still love the old movies- the ones which have the atmosphere and focusing on stories.
I don't know if the Corleone-style families still exist in society for now but I believe if there's human, there're always problems and different types of living ways exist.
For CNY this year, I traveled to Nepal and it is an experiment with surprises, because frankly I don't go visit south asia a lot and especially the place with such religious atmosphere.
When I landed and stayed in Kathemandu, I found out road is not flat- basically they're mud, soil and rocks. Electricity is not stable- sometimes electricity would fail and all lights are off. Most people on streets are guys. But I got to tintin's place- the temples in durbar square, which was the main purpose I went.
For this trip, I think I didn't see the thorough Nepal, especially I didn't join the famous trekking, which is quite a miss. Nepal is the country surrounded by high mountains so it is a big suggestion that trekking is a must. If you're interested in Nepal, maybe survery trekking info and arrange such a tour would be more fun.
Even though 2020 just started for one month, there are already news around- taiwan's presidential election/ kobe's tragedy/ coronavirus. They are intense issues and they happened unpredictably in the beginning.
We all know that bad things happen, but during this hard time, aside from looking for solutions actively and complaining passively, maybe we will need to calm ourselves, do our best, and see how it goes. The world now has many problems- either politically or environmentally. Our, human's, reaction will show how much development we gain.
I watched this movie the other day from HBO. Acutally for all marvel movies, I only watched iron man before and never watched others even though mavel movies are super popular at for some years.
So this is about another hero ant-man, which was played by paul rudd- a star I like very much and am impressed by his never-aging apperance too! It is quite a good move, full of humor and action and a good plot. Even though it is not as popular as iron man, I think this one is still above the average very much. Share with you. :)
Just got back from Kaohsiung and quite lazy and tired. But there're some notes I'd like to put down,
1. So many tea houses for black tea with milk in Kaohsiung (and they're all with sugar...)
2. Still very hot even though it's winter time fo now.
3. Very crowded in certain areas, ex night market/ harbor warehouses for handmade stuff sales
4. Many motorcycles on roads.
Mariah Carey is a godess to me. She can sing and be a professional singer with class, especially when she was much younger. She sings Hero/ Endless love/ I'll be there etc and they're all my favorite songs. I'd strongly suggest to watch the music videos because she was very pretty and elegant at that time. She was simply an angel!
Suggest to take a look for the music videos and you'd be drawn to her. :)
Jay Chou's songs are incomparable- especially for those who are like us, born around 1970- 1980 something. Jay's songs are not only good to listen but alwasy can bring us certain memories, because the lyrics are so close to real lives and touch our hearts. When I have a biz trip in China, I always listen to Jay's songs and feel like still am in Taiwan.
I would love to list out my favs but they're so many that I can only pick up some in here,

Jay Chou is so famous in Asia already. But I still have to say, when you ever feel lonly or sad or have home sick for Taiwan, listen to his songs. Maybe they can soothe feelings and for sure accompany us throughout days.
2018 went by. Here comes 2019.
I literally am not pleased with 2018 at all. That was a terrible year. But from job perspective, it gave me development, even though there was lots of work loading. I traveled a lot for biz purposes- surely to China mainly. Anyway, my best wishes to 2019, and here are new year's resolutions,
1. Stay healthy/ happy,
2. Less fantasy/ more reality (quoted from ally mcbeal),
3. Meet more people/ experience more anything,
4. Need an official relationship.
Even if the new year's resolutions are almost the same every year, but hopefully, it'll come true some day. :)
I've seen this movie twice from TV, but everytime it still brought me into it. Started from the opera house in London, the beautful "Nessun Dorma" and sexy figure of the leading actress. After that, the scene was taken in Morocco, Casablanca. The storyline is very smooth and intriging. Tom Cruise of course added many astonishing action scenes and acted wonderfully.
This one would be one of my best top 10 movies lately for sure.
It's a book written by Kazuo Ishiguro, who is a Nobel prize winner in 2017. It says about a butler in England during WWII. The lord of Darlington Hall is close to German, but the butler, Mr. Stevens is still dedicated to the lord without any question. Even if Mr. Stevens was in love with Ms. Kent, the main female servant, he refused to be falling in love with her because he has his own job and needs to fully dedicate to the lord. So, Ms. Kent left Darlington Hall they haven't contacted till twenty years later.
It's not a happy story but the author described the butler, the maid, the lord and other characters vividly and with every detail. Moreover, the England atmosphere and beautiful scenery is all over the place. And there's a movie made for it, starring by Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson. It's a beautiful and profound book. Just finished the book today. It is about human beings to live a life without complaining or finding excuses for him/herself's failures. And also about to live our own lives but others', which means everyone has their own lives/ issues to face but we just don't need to take others' opinions or involvement for granted because at last, it's our own lives.
